When the federal No Surprise Act was effective on  January 1st, 2022, land ambulances were not included. So that means that the air, the l uh, the land ambulances are still allowed to charge you whatever their heart desires. I recently worked on a bill where the ambulance company had gouged the patient, and believe it or not, I was able to reduce the bill from $4,058 down to under $500.
