Here’s How an Out of Network Surgeon is Covered Under Your Insurance

If you are interested in using a doctor who’s out of network, you need to be able to prove that nobody else is able to perform the surgery. Uh, and, and, and when we’re talking about the other people, you have to first look at your insurance, health insurance plan to see who’s listed who could do the surgery. If nobody else can do it, then what you need to do is get letters from the providers who accept your health insurance indicating that this is the only doctor qualified to perform the surgery. And if there is no medical provider on your plan and they’re willing to write that letter for you, normally the case gets overturned and they will accept the outside provider doctor to go forward on the surgery. If you ever need help, please call me Adria, Medwise Insurance Advocacy. We give a good about your claims.
